gangnam style

“Gangnam Style” refers to PSY’s 2012 South Korean pop song and its viral music video, known for the distinctive “horse-riding” dance move and satire of Gangnam District lifestyle.[1][9] In some recent news, the phrase is also used for AI-generated dance videos that imitate the song’s choreography, including a viral clip featuring Assam’s chief minister and ministers.[3][8]

The sources establish that the original “Gangnam Style” was released in 2012, became a global viral hit, and was strongly identified with its copied dance steps and broad pop-culture impact.[1][4][15] They also show that “AI Gangnam Style” in current coverage usually refers to AI-made recreations of that dance rather than a new song or separate trend, but the sources do not establish a single official product called “Gangnam Style AI” or “CapCut effect.”[3][13][14]
